Los Angeles-based ed tech company GoGuardian has appointed Sharad Gupta as chief product officer to lead the company’s product management, design, user experience, and business insights teams.

Gupta has worked in various leadership roles over 10 years at Amazon, including head of worldwide deals and promotions and global private label pricing. Most recently, he led a global team of product managers, engineers and machine learning scientists to enable e-commerce.

Advait Shinde, GoGuardian’s co-founder and chief executive, said: “The customer-centric approach and world-class leadership Sharad brings will allow GoGuardian to innovate with products that maximise learning potential, meeting the needs of learners and educators everywhere.”
